In the centre of Kritsa village, this well known and established business is located in a large building with fantastic views over the valley, to the sea and mountains beyond from its roof terrace restaurant.

A 50m2 basement has an entrance from the lower road the other side of the building and was once the original house.  This now contains all the main cooking and preparation equipment.

The restaurant has a mixed menu offering international cuisine, local Cretan fare, home made pizzas, “gyros”, bbq meats, ice creams and sweets.  In previous years it remained opened in the winter evenings serving “mezhedes” and basic good Cretan food.

Kritsa has undergone some rejuvenation and the main shopping street outside the building has been paved and has new lights and plants.  The road is one-way to keep traffic to a minimum.  This building is truly at the heart of this wonderful hillside village, just 10 kms from the coastal town of Aghios Nikolaos.
