The village of Fourni is one of the most beautiful villages in Lasithi, Eastern Crete. This renovation project is one of the few houses in the area that has a garden.
The plot is about 157 m2 and there are two buildings. The one building was the main house and is about 43m2 with two rooms – a kitchen and a bedroom. The other building was once used by the owner’s grandfather to make cheese and to store hay to feed the animals in the winter. This building is about 36m2 and has some interesting features, such as a very high ceiling, huge fireplace and stone arch.
The garden is private, surrounded by walls entered through a large green metal door. It still has the original stone paving which unfortunately, cannot be seen because of the overgrown vegetation.
Many traditional houses in the village have been bought and restored, and this particular property would be perfect for anyone wanting to undertake an exciting and worthwhile project.
