This lovely property of about 200m2 in total, is located at a small intersection, between two streets, in the village of Kalo Horio, near Istron. It is a few minutes’ drive from one of the most popular sandy beaches in the area, called Voulisma Beach.
The property consists of the main house, which is made up of two floors, another large area on the ground floor of what was probably used for storage, a bathroom with a toilet, and a very large basement. The main house, storeroom and toilet all have separate entrances and share a common courtyard of about 20m2.
Due to the slope of the land’s surface, the basement is accessible from the street at the bottom. The area just outside could easily be cleared and used a parking space.
In the main house, the ground floor has a large living room with a cooker/fireplace. At the back of this living room are another two rooms, the one still holds a grape press, so this is where the owners probably produced and store their own wine. Large oak barrels and ceramic pots still stand in different areas of these rooms and can be seen in the photographs.
In the room at the far end is a simple wood ladder that leads up to 3 bedrooms of various sizes. At the top of the stairs is the first, and smallest, bedroom. A door leads into the next bedroom, and then again, there is another door that leads into to a very large, main bedroom. All the rooms have windows with countryside views. The main bedroom also has a separate entrance/exit.
The ceilings of the entire property are made up of wooden beams that are in good condition. The floors on the top floor of the main house are also wooden and are also in good condition.
The house would need a kitchen and an updated the toilet and bathroom. One would probably be able to keep most of the original doors and windows and only repair them. The house is intact with no obvious structural problems.
